Rather than requiring users to first find the "right" workflow view before they can act, actions like “Claim” now appear wherever a document already lives: in index, document type, or tag views. The action shows up automatically the moment a step is assigned to that user, so task-based access isn't only about who can see a document, but about making the next step obvious the moment it matters.
Workflow Reassignment and Bulk Translation, Built for Scale
Workflows break down fast when a reviewer goes on leave mid-approval or a coordinator is buried under document-by-document translation requests. Collaborate 10.9 addresses both. With workflow reassignment, authorized users can move a claimed stage to a new person, or update the pool of eligible approvers for upcoming stages, with a required comment capturing the reason for every change, all while workflow rules, stage order, and approval requirements stay fully intact.
Bulk translation solves a related scaling problem for multi-country trials. Instead of requesting translations one document at a time, coordinators can now select multiple documents, capture language and country together in a single request, and let translated files route and file themselves automatically into the correct location. Between workflow reassignment keeping approvals moving and bulk translation eliminating manual refiling, document coordinators get back the hours that used to disappear into administrative cleanup.
Digital Signatures That Meet You Where You Are
Some organizations standardize specifically on Adobe for signing, previously meaning a separate, disconnected tool outside the platform. Collaborate now supports digital signatures through Adobe Acrobat Sign directly within the normal workflow, alongside Trial Interactive's existing certificate-based signing. Users place signature fields on designated blocks and sign without leaving the platform or switching logins, giving organizations the flexibility to choose the signature provider that fits their standard, without sacrificing the trust and integrity guarantees they rely on.
