The Challenge
Having been active for more than 27 years, GEICAM has become the leading academic group in clinical, epidemiological, and translational breast cancer research in Spain. It is also highly recognized at an international level.
Given the large clinical trials conducted by GEICAM at a global level, document collaboration and compliance were key aspects of its day-to-day operations. For GEICAM, it was critical to have a transparent TMF pulse with metrics such as completeness and timelines
along with the ability to control TMF quality anytime, anywhere.
The Solution
TransPerfect’s Trial Interactive eTMF was implemented to easily and quickly support upcoming studies.
TMF study setups are nowadays ready in less than four weeks, and, by following an owned TMF Reference Model in all studies, GEICAM achieved TMF management standardization, which reduced project management time by 50%. Through the quality review module in Trial Interactive, GEICAM is able to control its owned TMF health periodically and in a compliant way.
